We are delighted that a concert by a string trio of amazing musicians will be given at St Mary’s on Sunday 6th September as part of our Patronal Festival celebrations.
Many of you will remember Quartet Camerata who gave a dazzling concert at St Mary’s in January. Now members of the quartet return to perform Beethoven’s fabulous trio Opus 9 No 1 in this 250th anniversary year of his birth. They will also perform Dohnānyi’s vibrant and tuneful ‘Serenade’ trio.
The concert will be at 3.00pm inside the church. All are welcome to join us. Admission is free but there will be a retiring collection in aid of our Charity of the Year, Pumps for Mpwapwa – providing a solar-powered water pump in the village of Msagali in Tanzania.
Please bring your facemask, we’ll be following government guidelines and maintaining social distancing.
The trio will also be performing the same programme outdoors earlier in the day at 12.30pm as part of the St Mary’s Patronal Festival celebrations – click here for more information.
There is an online booking system for the 3.00pm concert as places are restricted to 60 to allow for social distancing.
