It is such a great shame that the much-anticipated Beer & Carols event at The Cricketers has had to be cancelled once again this year, for very understandable reasons.
If you’re going to miss it as much as we are, why not pour yourself a glass of something and watch again our ‘Virtual Beer & Carols’ filmed last year (with new introduction from Will), and have a sing-song at home? Or share your screen on Zoom to enjoy it with friends or family!
Hosted by Revd Will Gibbs, with David Beaman at the piano, some dazzling soloists and members of our very own choir and congregation singing the carols, this 40-minute film will put you in the festive spirit!
We are thrilled that our friends from Symphonia Academica will be joining us once again with a ‘Pop Up Classics’ concert on Sunday 5th December at 3.00pm here at St Mary’s Church, Redbourn.
They will perform:
Mozart String Quartet in E flat K428
Beethoven String Quartet in C minor opus 18 no 4
Florence Price Andante Cantabile and Juba
The concert will last about one hour without an interval.
We ask for face masks to be worn and social distancing to be maintained where possible.
