Saturday 6th October
Harvest Supper, 6.00pm – 9.00pm, Redbourn Village Hall
This is a family friendly event for all ages with a ploughman’s supper, drinks and some games. Tickets are £7.50 for adults and £20 for a family. It’s a new venture being run by Will and the Gospellers so do come along – we’d love lots of people to make it a great success. Tickets are on sale now from Will or email him to reserve a place.
Sunday 7th October
All Age Harvest Eucharist, 9.30 am
We invite children to bring gifts (fruit, vegetables, dried goods, flowers etc.) that will be distributed to our elderly neighbours in Redbourn, and adults to bring money to support the Bishop of St Albans Harvest Appeal “Give Peas a Chance”, supporting rural communities in Southern Malawi.
Festal Evensong for Harvest, 6.30 pm
Beautiful music sung by our choir as we give thanks for the Harvest and for all God’s many blessings upon us and his creation.
Monday 8th October
Help with distribution of Harvest gifts, 10.00am
We enjoy a lovely tradition of making up boxes of food and posies of flowers from our Harvest celebrations to distribute to the elderly in our community. Could you spare an hour to help? We need car drivers who can come to the church and collect these gifts. Thank you.
