This coming Sunday 7th January at 6.30pm we are holding an Epiphany Carol Service. Epiphany marks the visit of the Magi (or Wise Men) to the child Jesus.
Please come along, sing some well-known Epiphany carols and hymns, listen to readings and poems and hear the choir sing.
Here at St Mary’s we are excited about all the things we have planned this year, and we want to invite everyone in the village to take part in our Lent challenge beginning in February – Take Something Up, (Don’t Give Something Up!)
On Saturday 10thFebruary from 2pm to 4pm we will be having a Talent Fair to showcase some of the amazing skills across our church community with the opportunity for you to have a go through Lent and learn something new too.

We hope there will be something for all ages! Why not join us and instead of giving something up for Lent, take something up instead?
We’d like to invite you to an evening with the Friends of St Mary’s on Friday 26thJanuaryat 7.30pm.
The Friends help fund the upkeep of Redbourn’s only Grade 1 listed building, St Mary’s Church. In the past they’ve held balls, barn dances and are key to Redbourn Classics.
The funds are only for the building and grounds – not what happens inside. If the building and churchyard are important to you, then we would love you to come along and hear how you could help support this important charity.
We recently had leak in the roof, and without the Friends of St Mary’s this would bring us even more worry. So, thank you to the Friends of St Mary’s and we hope some of you might be interested in joining – if only to put on some great social occasions for the village!
