It is with profound sadness that we learned of the death of The Duke of Edinburgh on Friday 9th April.
St Mary’s Church is open every day from 10 am until 5 pm for private prayer. You are welcome to light a candle at the votive candle stand as a sign of your prayer.
Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, we cannot open a Book of Condolence for people to write in. However, you can leave a message in the online Book of Condolence: https://www.royal.uk/condolence
A selection of the messages online will be passed on to Her Majesty the Queen and members of the Royal Family.
There is also a sheet in church on the left-hand side with a few prayers that you may find helpful at this time.
