Dear Will, I am very sad to inform you that Mr Philip Benzie of 74 The Park, Redbourn passed peacefully away on 17th April 2019 at Luton & Dunstable Hospital. His funeral was at Garston Crematorium on 1st May. His son Andrew was able to be with him, from Sydney for 4 hours at the last. His younger son Paul and myself were with him night and day for the palliative care few days.
I am writing to request the possibility of interring Phil’s ashes in the churchyard at St Mary’s. And if possible, a date suitable for you to perform the short service. Andrew will be back here in July from 7th to 10th before his son’s wedding takes place in Colchester.
