We look forward to keeping our Harvest Festival at 8.00am and 9.30am on Sunday 3rd October.
This year, instead of the usual collection of harvest food gifts which are distributed to our elderly neighbours in the village, we ask for your support of two charitable causes:
- Please make a donation in church to the Bishop of St Albans’ Harvest Appeal providing clean water in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
- And/or, please bring toiletries (especially; sanitary towels, shampoo, soap, toothpaste, child toothbrushes, wet wipes, nappies – (size 3 & 4, although any are helpful). These will be given to support Afghan refugees coming into the Diocese.
Please don’t bring tins and harvest food boxes this year, but we will look forward to collecting and distributing those again next year.
