Christmas Eve at St Mary’s

2.00pm – A Story for Christmas Eve with Will – online

We usually have amazing crib services but they weren’t possible this year.

We were hoping to have a Drive Through Nativity but that will have to be next year now.

So instead, Will has recorded a very special story for you to enjoy on Christmas Eve. We hope you enjoy it. Happy Christmas!

Will’s story will be broadcast here on our YouTube channel at 2.00pm on Christmas Eve and will be available to watch any time after that.

11.30pm – The First Eucharist of Christmas  (in church)

This service, often known as Midnight Mass, is an absolute gem and is really the first of the main Christmas services.

We gather in church at 11.30pm to celebrate the Christmas story of God coming among us in the birth of Jesus. This is a communion service with the blessing of our special crib.

Social distancing will be in place and face coverings will need to be worn for all attending (unless exempt) – please follow the guidance of the stewards who will there to assist those attending.

Whether you come to St Mary’s regularly or not – you can be assured of a very warm welcome – for you and your family and friends.
